Decorating with Embroidery Hoops

Hello everyone!

We are starting a new week, so for helping you getting through it, I am bringing today

some cute decoration ideas.

For those cross stitch enthusiasts, like me, you will know what I am talking about

when I say the words "Embroidery hoops" but I am sure you´ve never imagined

to use them as something else as an cross stitch accessory.

So today´s idea is to give them a different use, one that helps us decorate in a very

original, economical and striking way.

In the kids bedroom

This embroidery hoops with a neutral color fabric, are a perfect match for

the grey wall in a baby room.

This is also a good distraction for our baby.

In this case these colorful embroidery hoops are perfect for

a girl room.

In the living room

As to be expected, these cute decorations are perfect

These little cute fishes are perfect for decorating our kids bedroom.

Using them for keeping our daily basis accessories is a

perfect idea.

For weddings

When I saw that embroidery hooks are also used for decorating events such as a wedding,

if really caught my attention.

I personally think it´s a great idea, so that is why I wanted to save it for last, but doesn´t

mean it´s less.

Decorando con bastidores
¡Hola a todos!
Hoy empezamos nueva semana y quería hacerlo con unas decoraciones originales.

Para los apasionados del punto de cruz, como yo, seguro que os gustan estas ideas.
Además de ser muy fáciles de hacer, quedan muy llamativas, son además muy
económicas y las opciones para decorar son múltiples.

¡Espero que disfrutéis con el post de hoy!

En la habitación de los niños

Los bastidores en colores neutros y rosados,
quedan perfectos con la pared grisácea en una habitación
para bebé.

En habitación de bebé en tonos verdosos. 

Colgados del techo en colores diferentes,
para entretenimiento de nuestro bebé
desde su cuna. 

Para la habitación de unas niñas un poco más crecidas,
quedan perfectos en tonos rosados.

Para el salón

Bastidores en el salón, colgando del techoy en múltiples colores.
Quedan perfectos con la variedad de colores con los que se ha
decorado esta habitación.

Bastidores en tonos apagados con decoración floral,
a juego con la tonalidad de la pared y del sofá.

Bastidores con diferentes colores en la pared del salón,
que a la vez hacen un guiño a la forma de la mesita.

Para otras estancias de la casa

Como no podía faltar, estas decoraciones
tan lindas, quedan perfectas en la pared
del cuarto de costura. 

También funcionan perfectamente como tablero
para colgar nuestras notas en la pared
de nuestra pequeña oficina en casa,
ó donde queramos.

Esta linda bolsita para guardar la ropa usada, está hecha
con una bastidor,  y el resultado no puede
ser más original. 

Decoraciones artísticas hechas con un bastidor para
el comedor. 

Este cabecero en color turquesa está hecho a base
de utilizar bastidores y forrarlos con
tela.

Perfecto para colgar fotografías.

También para colgar las postales de Navidad. 

Para decorar la mesa de cocktail en casa.

de los más pequeños. 

En Navidad seguro que una decoración

Utilizarlos para guardar los utensilios que usamos a menudo,
y así tenerlos a mano, es una magnífica idea.

Para bodas

Sin duda alguna, la idea de utilizar estos bastidores para decorar una boda, me ha 

llamado mucho la atención.

Quería dejar lo mejor para el final y aquí lo tenéis.

Decorando el momento de la ceremonia
en una boda al aire libre.

Hi to everyone again!!

I hope you enjoyed the last post about "Industrial Style" and seeing how many

visits we got in our blog in the last few days, it seems you did!! So beside of bringing

today a new post, I wanted to say thank you for reading the blog!

Today I want to introduce you the romantic style, a style that has become more and

more popular recently since it fills our rooms with a magical atmosphere by using

pastel colors, lace, soft fabrics, cute flowers etc...

A little bit about this style

The romantic style tries to achieve a harmony look, one that make us feel calmed and 

rested, so that is why pastel colors are mostly use in the bedrooms, since it helps to 

create a very relaxing environment.

When choosing the furniture to fill your home, look for those with graceful curves 

and in pastel colors (always try to combine with the color you have chosen for the walls) 

and then fill them with other decorations with a little more masculine touch.

You can use beautiful bouquets and place them on the furniture, or also some cute

fabrics with a pleasant touch.

A good tip about where to place  these furniture, is to put them near the entrance of the 

room, so it will help to create a nice serenity feeling.

For the small details, a good idea would be to use those with glitter, as a silver vase 

or a silver frame with a family photograph.

These are almost all the basic ideas we should know about this interesting style, then,

you are free to add what you think it suits best.

For a little bit of inspiration, I chose some pictures.

In the drawing room or hall

Hall with a perfect combination of neutral tones

based on an armchair and a beautiful antique clock. 

In case you want a more elegant hall, you can combine

white and purple which will help you get a more

 sophisticated result.

In the living room

create a beautiful contrast.

Here we can see the idea of using a vintage screen, which we will
see also for decorating other rooms, since it´s an
essential element in this style.

In the bedroom

In this case they combined the pastel color used on the walls, with
furniture in a more basic shades.
In addition, a chest-dresser is a great idea and very functional.

In the kitchen

In the kitchen also white is the main color for the walls.

Also we can use some light gray too.

For getting some color, add colorful accessories.

In the dining room

Lovely dining room in a white-grey color, with curve shape furniture, and

with light color decoration.

In the bathroom

Bathroom decorated in pastel colors with little decoration,

but very well chosen.

The tub beside being beautiful, it combines perfectly with the shade chosen for

the wall and is a perfect element for this style.

This bathroom becomes a romantic one, thanks to the
wonderful ecliptic shaped mirror.

In other rooms

Is there anything more romantic than a writing desk?

It is the place that was used to write those beautiful letters to your love, 

or some beautiful poems.

Therefore, it is perfect for this style.

Here we got a beautiful corner, thanks to the use of a wood screen, that
helps us get some privacy in a very special way.

Any corner is just perfect for decorating it with some

cute flowers or with some small delicate accessories.

Beautiful corner of a bedroom where the closet with straight and curvy

lines is 

definitely the protagonist.

Another good idea is to use old mannequins as the one in the photo.

And we can not forget to mention that versailles style lamp hanging

on the ceiling of this room.

know where to set the limit on how romantic you want it to look.
