What was an school is now a....

Hello everyone!
How was the start of this new week?
This past weekend we had our first snow in Ottawa for this Fall, and this made me
get in the cozy mode of staying at home and prepare some plan to have fun there.
For this purpose we need to have a warm, cozy and friendly house, where we want
to spend hours having fun, watching the snow through the window, having some friends
in, or cooking some winter delicatessen.

This is why today I wanted to share with you, one very special house which makes you feel
all those things I described above, once you enter through the door.
This house is located in the Swedish countryside, and her owner is the Swedish designer and
calligrapher Ylva Skarp.
She converted an old school into this cozy place, where now she lives with her lovely
family.

The tables are made of pallets.
The handwriting on the wall makes the room less
serious and more cozy.
The wooden floors and carpets, creates
a warm atmosphere.

I love the usage of decorations pieces such as paper stars.
It gives the room a different touch.
I personally love this chimney.
And carpets on chairs like the one in the picture.

Rustic table with lots of candles, cones and
small branches. Is a way
to add nature to our deco.

Less is more always.

This house looks really warm and comfortable, with a great design and decoration very well
balanced.
For this purpose, she used some pieces of her own collection line.
